01 · Context
The Challenge
KeepStock’s employee training content was scattered across an unstructured SharePoint site with no clear information architecture, forcing employees to rely on ad hoc requests to the support team just to find basic how-to information instead of being able to self-serve.
03 · Reasoning
How the Direction Changed
The existing SharePoint site had grown organically over time with no underlying structure, so finding anything required already knowing where to look — which meant most employees didn't bother searching and went straight to asking IT or a coworker instead.
I ran a card-sorting exercise with actual employees to understand how they naturally grouped and expected to find training content, rather than imposing a structure based on how the content happened to be organized internally.
That research became the basis for a new information architecture and navigation system, paired with a mobile-friendly layout so the hub worked as well from the floor as from a desk.
